Had some good actors, and some decent effects..but the writing really bothered me.

Well, I'm not sure if you watched the mini series but basically, 10.5 was the san adreas fault coming apart around or through southern california, effectively tearing a huge rift through the land. Was kinda cool to see for a mini series (I mean it's free vs a movie you'd have to pay for).

I watched what becomes of the broken hearted. I usually find those "made for tv" mini-series rather boring. While channel surfing, i did see Kaley Cuoco starring in it though.. that may have made it a little better

Some tv movies are great...usually done by the british. Threads and The War Game come to mind. Both british and both about nuclear war (a difficult subject in anyones books).
