Yeah have to say that the Electoral Commission really did a top notch job. It took me longer to walk from my car to the Polling Booth than it did for the voting process.

There are some interesting parallels in the German elections and ours.

I heard from some people in AU that once the votes from the Bondi Centrelink polling booth are counted, the final counts will be official, due to that being where 90% of NZers in AU voted from.

I know. I thought it was quite ironic how NZ and Germany are the only countries in the world (last I knew) with MMP, and we both have our elections the same weekend!

Schroeder's acting like a right dick, though, refusing to admit defeat and acting like he won in some landslide victory, even claiming that he has the mandate to remain Chancellor. I don't thionk anybody told him he lost?

Anyway, how Germans can trust a man with a tan that deep is beyond me.

It's because hes so good looking. He's like Winston but managed to choose the right party to lead.
