I don't see how you can call the cop a dick for ticketing you just because your washer was broken.

HTF is the cop supposed to know that? All he saw was an expired warrant. Your lack of warrant might be for a faulty washer, or it might be for extensive structural rust and suspension problems. It's not as if he's gonna give your car a warrant check on the side of the road and find out, is it?

The guy at the testing station has a checklist to complete before you get your warrant. The cop has to make sure you have your warrant. You failed the checklist, didn't get your warrant and got nailed for it.

WTF is the problem?

Your lights are not "perfectly fine". They are so misaligned that your vehicle failed its warrant inspection. Most of your posts reiterate this fact.

You own a silencer that you fit to your car when you attempt to obtain a warrant. You need this to "avoid any problems". Also, you've been ticketed for having an excessivley noisey exhaust. Several of your posts iterate these facts.

Now, sit back and try to think in a coherent manner. Do you still think that the first comment of yours that I've quoted is reasonable?

The more you reveal about your circumstances, the clearer it is just how appropraite what happened to you was.

Cop knew very well what was wrong with the car and why i dont have a wof, he has seen the paper from the testing station that i have recieved after not passing my wof, and with that paper you are allowed to use the car for the 28days that you have to fix it and bring it back to them.
He knew very well that there wasnt ANYTHING seriously wrong with the car, but gave me the sticker just to be a dick.

Thats the only problem here, not me getting 200$ fine, but getting unnecessary green sticker, ffs.

With that paper you are allowed to take the car back within 28 days and not have to pay a new WOF fee. It's not a temporary WOF, no matter how much you'd like to believe that.

It's not the cop's job to give a shit about what's on your WOF report. All he's supposed to care about is whether your car is legally entitled to be on the road.

The matter of the fact is, he was green stickering me just because he can, not because it was needed to.
If he was to follow the law and respect the public he would nicley inform me for what i was receiving my ticket and the green sticker for and would comment on my exhaust noise, and not give out a green sticker that complains about my exhaust beeing to loud without any prior testing.

As long as i have been driving (over 5 years now) i have been pulled over so many times, sometimes for not having a WOF and have never been green stickerd before, because there was no need to, thats excessive. Green sticker is for obvious rust buckets and cut spring dumb nuts, not for a car that has a washer problem and slight miss alignment in headlights.

A polite warning and 200$ ticket would be just fine. not to restrict me of using the car to have it taken anywhere to be fixed and putting in position to get a 1200$ fine if i try to take it to a mechanic to have it sorted.

Just uncalled for, thats all. now could someone delete this thread ?

I'm sure i would pass the wof without it, but there is no need to risk it when i can just put it in, 5min job.

Bzzzt. Sorry Ken, that's the wrong answer.

With that piece of paper you are legally allowed to drive the car to a place of repair, have it repaired, and then return to WoF testing station for a re-check. That is all. You don't have 28 days to drive where-ever you feel like.

Coincidently, a couple of months back i was walking around with nothing on my feet. I accidentally stood on some glass and cut my toe. The cut became infected, and eventually my toe dropped off..... now i think the toe actually dropping off was a little excessive dont you?
