Always itchy

I've decided I'd like to be a news paper editor for a relevant paper. I don't know why but it just seems like a job I'd really enjoy.

Absolutely nothing I've done up to this point would contribute towards this.

Why would you want to work in porn? Being involved in creating porn everyday, it would lose its allure. And why would you want that?

I would enjoy being a full time philosopher, but that wouldn't keep me in life style to which I've become accustomed. Or intend to become accustomed at some point...

I think i'd like to a presenter on a tv show about dream jobs. Just have a week experiencing life as a rally driver, then a week as a porn star, then a week as a travel show host etc.... but without the tv show and presenting part of it

Sad

I can't seem to choose any job that I would do if I could.

Which is not surprising I suppose, considering I don't know what I am going to do for a job next year or any time after that.

Worth every cent (even though I didnt have to pay). I did the 1 day rally experience course. You get basic car control theory, then 3 laps of the course in one of their Mivec Mirage (don't scoff, it's not to be under-estimated!) and a hot seat lap with a professional rally driver, in an evo4 group n rally car. Words cant describe how much fun it is!

The day I went, Peggy Bourne was down there practising for Race to the Sky, which was fun to watch! (she hit a post.. real hard.. doh!)

The Greek level 2 at Vic does a field trip to Greece once a year (provided enough enrolments for the class), FYI.

If I had 20/20 hindsight, I probably would be doing the same thing that I'm doing now. I'll stick at I.T. for a few more years then change to a commmercial helictoper pilot.

I always wanted to go on that, I just don't like the bit where it says you are responsible for any damage to the car. I don't want to have to fork out for a new car if I fuck it up, would be ok if there was insurance or something

They only say that to stop the over-confident among us from going beyond their limits, and hitting stuff. The idea is for the course to be first and foremost a learning experience, and secondly a fun day.

As long as you excercise some maturity and self-control, you'll be fine :P

What would I do?

Motor-racing (V8 Supercars or rallying)
or
Sound engineer / mix artist -
Have been recording a few samples, working on making a few different breaks and tracks, mainly ambient stuff, but slowly putting together a few decent sounding tracks, though nothing I'm willing to release to the world - not yet anyway

I've always wondered in the back of my mind what it would be like to design robotic prothetics for amputees - maybe it's a throwback to the 6 million dollar man mixed with geek tendancies, and a love of old fangoria mags. I think I might retire and do that sort of thing after I win Lotto.

Note: you will get sick of computers REAL quick. I bet allot of people here thought the same when they got into the industry.

You WILL become jaded.. just accept it.

/me's off to type a few commands, listens to some homax finance dude tell me there's no more resource. Be reminded by the uber nerd developer, that he has a masters in pure mathematics. Listen to the same BS excuse form the DBA's as to why there's no table space AGAIN!
Attempt to send some email to discover some gimp's dropped the quota's on the exchange mailboxes without notice, now I cant send fucking emails until I clear out my pr0n folder.

Note how all of your problems are caused by other people, and not computers. Computers are still fun, its the people who are making you tired of your job.

Last time i checked all IT roles involved interacting (in one way or another) with people. Computers and people go hand and hand.

I’m doing an assignment at the moment on exercise programming for people with lower limb amputations.

The power knee is in its final rounds of testing at the moment...
