U tried to show laser beams coming out of that child's eye and it sure doesnt look like laser beams. it kinda look like flames comming outa some stinking dragon. u could go on for hours as to how u saw it in movies to justify urself. But it still doesnt make u right. Is it so hard to admit fault ? Does that make u a lesser person CCS?

Lasers do spread (in air, I'm not sure about in a vacuum), but not noticeably. Mind you, I've only seen ones with a 5 mm diameter. Ones that are 1 ft across might be a tad more noticeable.

Also, Cyclops' visor thingy can focus the beam any way he wants, so he can have it spread out to hit 3 guys or narrow it down to zap a chain.
