This makes me laugh:

It was in Munich about 3 days ago, I just walked around a corner and found this band playing to a few people in some square. There were seriously only about 12 people there, all sitting back and not into it at all - probably because this was a German band (I think), and they were doing covers of the kind of songs you'd hear on a classic rock radio station. That's got disaster written all over it.

Saw this kid sitting there and managed to get the right angle without anyone else in shot, and just as I was about to take it he put his hands on his ears. Talk about fluke timing.

The brake-discs look too small to be from a DB9. Does the front one really look like 355mm diameter?

I can't see how anyone would leave it out on the street and on top of that, not have an alarm that would notify them when someone is jacking up their car and taking the wheels.

Actually not staged, happened week before last in Herne Bay. The guy that owns the car is a director of a local finance company, he was overseas at the time, his house was being renovated and it was parked outside his daughters place. There were also 6 other euro cars hit the same night, same thing, blocked, wheels gone...

And yes it is a real DB9. Replacement wheels $20K... ouch !
