Travel to the Balkans

Thinking about doing a trip to the Balkans for a couple of weeks near the end of september sometime (avoiding high tourist season) just wanting to hear from anyone thats been there that can tell me about it, give some advice, places to see etc. Thx

Belgrade, Serbia. If you can get there during New Years it would be even better. Cheap food, drink, accomodation, dentists, and women are fucking hot. And I mean fucking hot! It is a 24/7 city, even in cold winter you get lots of people on the street past 12am, and public transport works like a charm as long as you buy tickets

No. There is no war anywhere in the Balkans now. Croatia and Slovenia are excellent but cost way more then Serbia does. Avoid Albania, they steal watches and dont use toilet paper.

Drain, may i ask what made you decide to visit Balkans? Not many people go there for a holiday (unless it's Croatian coastline, even then it's not really overly popular)?
