I was thinking that there is no point in trying to come up with anything new - If it was a good idea, it would have been invented already. I mean - The world is full of people who are a lot smarter than me, and they think about things like this ALOT. If they had any good ideas, they would have been invented already.

Then I thought......

What if everyone else thought like this? Nothing new would ever get developed, because everyone would assume that everyone else would do the thinking. Then I felt guilty, for not sharing my brilliant ideas with the world.

Then I realised, that NOT EVERYONE thinks like this, there are plenty of other people coming up with new ideas.
So I am back in the clear. Phew!

went out last night
partner saw some girl walking past with loo paper stuck to her shoe
stopped her and we spent the next couple of minutes trying to unstick the paper ( floor was really sticky and we were all quite drunk )

once done she says "you look familiar"
and being drunk and thinking 'well you don't.. I said "hey yeah ! you do too, where do I know you from"

questions go back and forth and it turned out we were in the classrooms next to each other at Intermediate but were never well aquainted

What startled me was the fact that I 'looked familiar' to her at the age of 30 when she hasn't seen me since I was 11
