I haven't eaten a decent salad the whole time I'm in Hong Kong (that's about 2 weeks). Well actually I have, either it costs an arm and a leg, or it is produced by the local branch of Demon Food Inc. aka KFC, thus tastes worse than shit. So I took matters into my own hands. I went to a fresh produce market to buy the necessary ingredients.
The most shocking thing about the market is that I am the only MAN shopping there (to say nothing else), sticking out like a sore thumb after a very long night of Virtual Tennis binge. That place is like a Chinese version of Scythia, only with all the Amazons replaced by middle-aged women with soggy breasts. |
