Ok, I'll be serious for a second...have you heard of Pricespy?
WD 80 GB hdd:
Liteon DVDRW 4x 4x 12x:
Wanna save about $67? BTW, from Uberpc site - "We will ship all goods on the understanding that these goods are not to be used for any illegal activity." |

Ha! yes i saw that ive used a couple of companys off pricespy, and the biggest issue was the time it took from when i placed an order till when i received it. in both cases almost 10 days! now thats just slack
Anyway, i was looking at a seagate 80gb which is $133.65 on uber pc which on pricespy cheapist price PCSALE @ $117 + frieght = $129 according to their calculator then add $195.75 + say optimisic $8 frieght = $203.75. This means a saving of around $23 for me However, it also means that i have to deal with two seperate business that i know nothing about. In addition it also means that i have to be home during the day to receive the two seperate courier packages, which is very awkward in my circumstance, particularly when either could arrive anytime within two weeks. So ive done my homework with this, which is why i came on here to ask if anyone had dealt with them, for me, price isnt the be all and end all of everything, especially if service is good! I think ive already made up my mind on it, but i was hoping to hear some feedback about them. Anyway thanks mark! |

why does 50fatchicks sounds like a worker from uberpc.co.nz....
if so, this is a really really bad trend. |

so how do you know if their service is good if you "really" don't know anything about them
If you want best service www.ascent.co.nz seagate 80 gb $143.64 Liteon dvdrw $207.77 free shipping, problem solved. Or do you have another reason why uberpc is so ..uber |

Well, I've used PCSale - I received my hdd within 2 days of placing order.
Edit: What Exit said. If price isn't the be-all end-all, then Ascent gets my vote too. Last edited by Mark98 : 29th January 2004 at 13:30. |

You just have to ask the place if they have it in stock when you order it. The reason it takes so fucking long to get some stuff is because the reseller (place you buy from) is waiting on the wholesaler (place they buy from), and sometimes wholesalers get fucked around from their suppliers (usually direct o/seas). So it all trickles down the line to the end customer who gets pissed off.
I like pp.co.nz because their prices aren't too bad, they list online wether or not something is in stock and they have free shipping for orders over $100. I've ordered a bunch of stuff from them over the years, and it's always arrived quickly, apart from 1 part which i had to wait 3-4 days on which was out of stock (they let me know this though). Other than that, if you're in 09, xpcomputer is cheap as fuck, but parking is sucky in newmarket. Eone computers in manakau have damn cheap specials and uber parking outside. Oemcomputers sometimes have good deals (just down the road from eone), qmb computers are also supposedly cheap. Apart from those small few, the rest in 09 are all stupendously overpriced ripoff merchants. Anyone know of anymore like eone in auckland, with _good_ parking. (i'll only go to xpcomputer if i *really* have to due to newmarket parking/traffic). |

I've had problems with pp using their order system. I've tried purchasing things on 2 seperate occassions and ended up cancelling both. Both times only automated replies to the order and when I email questions I get no reply. Even no acknowledgement reply when I cancel my order.
E-one service is not that great but they are cheap. I like Oemcomputer better and they have been more than happy to pricematch e-one a couple times for me when I asked (I don't think they like e-one) |

hehe my A7V8X-X was somehow malfunctioning yesterday..
took them in to e-one today, it'll take 4 days to diagnose -_-" but they did take the faulty motherboard in without asking questions, not bad, not bad at all |
