Cracks me up though. You would think that someone who put together their own pc would have enough intelligence to know not to cover electronic components in water in the first place.

You could do this quite happily if you were using pure, deionized water. H20 on it's own doesn't actually conduct electricity at all, it does it most of the time thanks to the usually-present salt in most water.
