So what? My point was that your "tongue in cheek" misses the point. It isn't always just North Islanders whinging about others' whinging and some of the complaints are legitimate.
And just so you don't think I'm getting uptight over what some South Island person is thinking, I actually said (and do believe) that the "I hate you!" thing is no better or worse on the part of people from either island. And what does that mean? I actually partially agree with your point.
Try using some of those reading skills learnt at primary school next time.
