Are you serious? Have you ever heard of the X-Men? Do you know who Cyclops is? Have you seen either of the movies? As a matter of fact, I used the subway scene from the first movie as a reference. If I could do a screencap I could show you that Cyclops' eyebeams do in fact 'spread like normal light'. This is where you probably start bleating like a pathetic nerd about how the movie isn't accurate and that the comic book rules your universe.
