Well, I was only half serious but
Your analogy is not perfect. Stepping on a nail is more or less guaranteed to hurt and there is little about the event which is likely to provide any pleasure. (Unless maybe you had a REALLY bad itch where the nail went through, then maybe you could argue it provided pleasure in a way).
Anal sex, on the other hand, is a (slightly) different story.
The actual act you do all the time, just in a different oriface.
You don't have the 'spots' you do in the vagina, but that's not (only) what all girls enjoy about sex. I've spoken to girls who mention that they like being "filled". Now that sensation could be the same in 'the other hole'.
