Have you Read the Commonwealth books?...much better the NDT in my opinion (not that NDT was bad or anything..just had a non-ending, and dragged in places)..definately a good read...books are "Pandoras star" and "Judas Unchained" .. very similar to NDT in all the right ways, whilst having a much more satisfactory story arc IMHO.
