what u get for xmas

me nothing..lol

Lightspeed 25th December 2009 17:05

All I got was this lousy thread.

dylan 25th December 2009 18:45

Saying what you got for christmas is the lamest fucking idea ever imo.

Whoever reads it is either going to be jealous or laugh at you.

Pretty sure I hated doing this in primary school and nothing has changed since, even though I get substantially better presents nowadays!

/scrooge

Helious 25th December 2009 19:07

I got lots and lots of love from my family and friends. Meanest gift.

p.s this thread is a dumb idea!

Trigger 25th December 2009 21:21

Helious 25th December 2009 21:30

Helious 25th December 2009 22:30

fact: i didn't have a pie until i was about 18-19yrs old. and i've had no more than half a dozen in total! i made a bacon and egg pie a few months ago, that was awesome. i only had 2 pieces though, i made it for my Dad ;)

i must be the only new zealander to not like pies

edit: i've never had KFC. not many south aucklanders can say that

Wally Simmonds 26th December 2009 00:06

THat's pretty hard to believe Helious

Helious 26th December 2009 00:11

I'm just a fussy mother fucker. High Maintenance++

dylan 26th December 2009 00:28

I can understand the pie thing - I moved to NZ when I was 16 and made friends with this guy, I still remember going into Auckland CBD with him and he was like 'let's go to Georgie Pie' and I was like uhhhh wtf dude, what are they selling in that place like PIES or something??? but he was really into it.

But no KFC? Ever? Really??? that's just - wrong!

if i send you a kfc voucher for christmas will you eat some? just to try it? it's like the best thing EVER!

Jonas Undrawing 26th December 2009 00:46

I aint had KFC in over 15 years. From memory, it just never tasted like real food. Everything tasted like chalk soaked in oil.

Helious 26th December 2009 00:46

@ dylan: Yeah I guess so

You'd eat KFC but you wouldn't eat a pie? WTF? There's scant difference!

Dont' worry, I was soon converted. He convinced me to try one and I was like wow this is actually pretty good.

Then georgie pie closed down shortly afterwards and I thought, what a cunt, getting me addicted, and now it's gone.

It's fucked up my life tbh

Helious 26th December 2009 01:19

HAHAHA

Fx. 26th December 2009 06:12

I'd hesitate a guess that most South Aucklanders got KFC for Christmas.

Vrtigo 26th December 2009 11:27

luke, do you post just so that we can ridicule you? i heard that GP wants you back - we certainly dont. grow up.

A Corpse 26th December 2009 12:29

Thread officially derailed.

KFC is disgusting and I felt queasy within minutes the last couple of times I ate their chicken so I'm never touching that shit again. Fries are OK, burgers barely tolerable.

Received for giftmas? Nothing, and I have to say it's been one of the best christmases ever. Spent time with my wife and our two kids (2yo and a 3-week old) and had a nice pleasant day. Most of the gifts were for our two year old daughter and it's far more fun watching her get excited than it is opening presents ourselves. :D

MadMax 26th December 2009 12:44

my younger brother has started this thing where he gets me scorched almonds every year - apparently it's now a tradition :D he also got me some swish looking placemats. i told him off for getting me stuff cause he'd already given me a juicer

chocolates from my sister, a phone call from my brother, dinner at an aunties place, self-prepared gift basked, hugs n kisses etc ...

ps, kfc is good on the go down, but i feel like crap for hours later. kfc for lunch kills me for the rest of the day

buckies 26th December 2009 13:12

I waited outside Pirie Street KFC for it to open yesterday at 11am. They really put in a bit of Xmas effort, as it was the best three piece quarter pack I've ever had.

Lightspeed 26th December 2009 14:05

KFC is fine if you avoid the chips and fried chicken. :p

Fx. 26th December 2009 14:27

slimline ps3 ;D

<3 gf

dylan 26th December 2009 14:39

I think the problem is that noobs are expecting some sort of fine cuisine when they go to kfc. It's not meant to be. It's meant to hit the spot when you have a craving for cholesterol and fat and want to ingest some ASAP.

It's dirty, messy, nasty experience. It's the rocco siffredi of the fast food world!

MoP 26th December 2009 16:28

Microfibre towels (for travelling) a tshirt and some cushion covers.

I bought myself a Macbook Pro. I win.

xor 26th December 2009 16:52

  • 4gb mem stick from my brother in law
  • dinner set from my mother in law
  • $100 Stevens voucher from my mum/dad
  • Home-made bread and eggs bene from wifey
My mate has KFC every Friday night and he said the trick is to ask them for 'extra crispy chips with extra seasoning'.

fidgit 26th December 2009 19:46

Powerdrill and an elite xbox. Also gf gave me vouchers for driving lessons. Could be suggesting something, but I'm no good at subtelty.

Ab 26th December 2009 20:40

Georgie Pie was to pies what KFC is to well-cooked chicken.

Seriously, anyone who feels nostalgic for Georgie Pie obviously doesn't remember what those ghastly little parcels of tasteless slop used to taste like.

p01s0n 26th December 2009 20:44

I think everyone will agree that this is a freakin sweet t-shirt.

Thomas Meatball 26th December 2009 20:47

Is that an inhaler or is he beatboxing?

doppelgänger of someone 26th December 2009 20:49

That IS a cool T-shirt, pity you can't wear it in public...

No, that's Luke's lightsaber.

And he is sucking it.

the photo is not the best but pretty much its darth vader, wearing a gold chain and aviators, and spitting into a mic labelled "vader" on the handle, and in the reflection of his glasses you can see silhouettes of the crowd going wild.

lols me so hard.

Well that's easy: They don't actually fry their chicken anymore.

KFC is like two girls one cup. Anticipation or morbid curosity then epic fail.
